Office Administrator

Position Details

Our company is rapidly expanding! Prodigy Excavating is in need of an Office Administrator to take over office and administration responsibilities. The Office Administrator will serve as a central point for communication, HR, payroll, bookkeeping, ordering of equipment and supplies, and documenting as-builts and invoicing. This is a full-time position with occasional requirements for travel, working remotely is an option.

Responsibilities:

  • Basic bookkeeping: entering bills and creating invoices and estimates.
  • Creation of supporting documentation for invoices including but not limited to as-builts and redlines.
  • Ordering and tracking of consumables and supplies for office and filed equipment.
  • Record management, time administration and basic HR functions to ensure the well-being of all employees.
  • Review and editing of contracts.
  • Maintaining current documentation for all sub-contractors.
  • Occasional driving to pickup/drop-off of parts and equipment as needed.
  • Occasional travel required to company headquarters for training or as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with Quickbooks.
  • Human Resources Experience.
  • Able to safely work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to work without supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bookkeeping and Human Resources qualifications

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the rists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Successful candidates will be required to submit to criminal background check and may be subject to a drug screen.
